The plant stem strength tester mainly uses pressure sensors to detect the bending, compressive strength, puncture strength, etc. of the stem. The strength of the stems of corn, sorghum, tobacco, and other crops is usually a major factor determining their ability to resist lodging. Over the long term, lodging of corn, sorghum, and tobacco has caused great difficulties in mechanized harvesting of such crops. With the current level of mechanized harvesting, it will result in a large amount of crop waste. In addition, corn lodging can lead to insufficient light, greatly limiting its yield. The HLY-JG2 plant stem strength tester can quickly measure the strength of plant stems and store the data, which can be directly imported into a computer. This instrument is suitable for agricultural genetic breeding.
