    Accurate Focusing
    With the release of cellSens, a multi-point focus map is available to enable automated focusing across wide image areas.

    High-Precision Ultrasonic Stage (IX3-SSU)
    With low thermal drift and high accuracy, the ultrasonic stage delivers excellent reliability for multi-image acquisition. Sample holders firmly secure slides or dishes to provide repeatability during high-magnification, multi-point observations.

    Bright, Uniform Fluorescence Illumination
    The fluorescence illuminator (IX3-RFALFE) incorporates a fly-eye lens system to provide even light distribution. The system provides bright and even illumination to the entire field, which is well-suited for tiled images.

    WELL PLATES MADE SIMPLE


    The well plate navigator in cellSens software and its database function enable proper screening during an experiment. In combination with the well navigator solution, the database solution improves the efficiency of viewing and analyzing well plate images with a large amount of data.

    By clicking on icons for image information such as the date, file name, or well plate number, any selection of captured images can be viewed for further analysis. This solution also enables continuous analysis of selected images (the batch macro function) using the well plate GUI. 

    RAPID DECONVOLUTION


    Olympus cellSens Dimension includes live 2D deblurring for live preview and acquisition, to enable better focusing on thick specimens. In addition, more advanced 3D deconvolution techniques are available to reassign out-of-focus light. The optional CI deconvolution solution employs a constrained iterative deconvolution algorithm to produce improved resolution, contrast, and dynamic range with industry-leading high speed by using GPU processing.

    Objectives for Observation Using Plastic Vessel

    LUCPLFLN series objectives especially the UCPLFLN20XPH (NA:0.7), are well-suited for observation using plastic dishes. The objectives enable high-resolution observation of the cell proliferation process and deliver improved contrast across a wide area. Now, you no longer have to subculture on a glass-bottom dish.

    ADVANCED ANALYSIS


    Images can be easily converted to statistically relevant data with cellSens software. The software features region of interest, phase analysis, and cell count capabilities. Export raw measurement data to Microsoft Excel software or a cellSens workbook with a single click.

    MULTI-OBSERVATION METHOD


    The DP80 digital camera works as two cameras in one. It's possible to switch between the monochrome CCD sensor and color CCD sensor, to easily acquire high-quality brightfield and high-sensitivity fluorescence images of the same field. You don't need to switch camera ports with a prism, saving time.
