  • Company Profile

compact Huber Minichillers are an economic and environmentally friendly cooling solution for many laboratory applications. A calculation of water and waste water costs shows that a Minichiller can save up to 48,000 litres of water in a working week and due to its low procurement price, return on investment is achieved within a very short time.

The units have a very compact footprint, only requiring 225 x 360 mm on the laboratory bench and are therefore suitable for cooling reactor blocks, vacuum pumps, rotary evaporators or heat exchangers

The Huber Minichiller allows stable application conditions due to constant values for temperature, pressure and throughflow quantities. They are also perfect for continuous operation at ambient temperatures up to 40°C. Despite the economic purchase price the coolers are well equipped and have a large temperature indicator, fill level indicator, as well as status LEDs for the pump, cooling and heating. A 1 kW heater is optionally available with which the temperature range can be extended to +100°C. Minichillers are available as both air and water cooled models and use natural refrigerants.

Asynt was formed in July 2003 with the aim to develop, supply and support new and novel products and services central to the laboratory.

Since inception, we have developed the DrySyn range (clean, safe synthesis without the need for oil baths and heating mantles) and now offer a broad range of scientific tools and consumables spanning from synthesis into biology.

Our current team has over 70 years of experience in the scientific sector and work hard to help our customers find the best possible solutions for their requirements. Key product lines available include Asynt ReactoMate Controlled Lab Reactors, the DrySyn heating and cooling blocks, Grant, IKA, Julabo, Porvair, Telstar and Vacuubrand amongst others.

Asynt’s Managing Director, Martyn Fordham, spent almost twenty years dealing with the requirements of research chemists (at the outset just custom glassblowing) before forming Asynt. For Martyn, having the right staff who are both knowledgeable and dedicated to customer support has been the key to Asynt’s successful growth.
