- Individual ventilated cages( IVCs) produced by Yuyan Instruments(Shanghai, China)is an advanced animal feeding equipment, which is suitable for feeding mice and rats in clean environment. With its excellent performance and humanized design, IVCs provides a suitable living environment for experimental animals, and can also greatly improve the operating efficiency and safety of the laboratory.
- Precise airflow control：
IVCs mainly consists of three parts: main body, cage and cage frame. IVCs accuratelyIVCs mainly consists of three parts: main body, cage and cage frame. IVCs accurately controls the environmental parameters in the cage through the main body, such as air pressure difference, temperature, humidity and air exchange times. Inlet and outlet fans are built in the main body to control air supply and exhaust respectively, so as to ensure the stable and even distribution of air flow in the cage. At the same time, the equipment has real-time monitoring and alarm functions. Once the environmental parameters deviate from the set range, the alarm will be triggered immediately to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment.
1.Features and advantages
Multiple parameters are adjustable and controllable:
The main body has a color touch screen, and various parameters such as air pressure difference, air exchange times, temperature and humidity alarm can be adjusted and controlled. The main body adopts intelligent variable air volume design and numerical control microprocessor control.
Device with multiple filtration：
The air inlet is equipped with a primary filter and a high-efficiency filter. The primary filter performs preliminary filtration to improve the service life of the high-efficiency filter, and the high-efficiency filter performs fine filtration on the air to ensure the cleanliness of the intake air and the feeding environment of the system.
Main body
Equipped with mobile phone management applet：Equipped with mobile phone applet real-time management equipment to receive system running status information and abnormal alarm information, so that IVCs can run more safely and animals can be raised more safely.

Advantages: The fan is more powerful and can drive more cages.
Recommended number of cages: 288 cages for mice or 70 cages for rats.

Model 3: Yan-F-35

Number of built-in fans: 2 sets of inlet and outlet fans

Setting pressure difference range: -50~50Pa
Advantages: two sets of inlet and outlet fans can be used for standby and can also run at the same time, and the main body can still run normally when one set of fans fails.
Recommended number of cages: 150 cages for mice or 50 cages for rats.
Cage
The cage is made of new materials made of PSU or PPSU, and the use of fake plastics or recycled plastics is strictly prohibited. We provide the factory certificate of raw materials and affix the official seal. Cages are transparent and bright amber, with no turbid impurities and strong light transmittance, which is convenient for experimental observation. Cages can withstand high temperature sterilization at 136℃, and will not deform after repeated high temperature and high pressure.
We provide two types of cage for mice and one type of cage for rats
1.Type 1：Compact mouse cage

Display of details
We use non-invasive design to produce the cage and ventilation interface, and the air inlet and air outlet of the supporting cage frame will not enter the cage , and the cage will not produce cross pollution.
The buckle adopts split design (two buckles are on both sides of the cage cover and are not connected with the cage bottom), and the buckle can be disassembled and replaced when it is damaged. The split buckle can connect the cage cover and the cage bottom more closely.
The cage is equipped with a life window and a filter membrane to ensure that animals are adequately ventilated during feeding without accidents and death. Life window and filter membrane can be disassembled and cleaned at any time.
Outer dimensions of the cage: 38cm×16cm×17cm(L* W *H)，which can accommodate 5-7 mice.
2.Type 2：Comfortable mouse cage

PPSU: YM-570

Display of details
The buckle adopts an integrated design (one buckle is on the side of the cage bottom and has no connection with the cage cover), which can avoid having to be replaced with the cage cover when the buckle is damaged. The integral buckle can reduce the increase of later use cost, and the switch cage cover is more convenient than the integral buckle and is not easy to deform and damage.
Detachable brackets are equipped on both sides of the cage cover, and labels can be placed on the brackets (the size of labels can be placed ≥75*100mm). Placing labels can facilitate users to mark cages and record information.
The cage is equipped with a life window and a filter membrane to ensure that animals are adequately ventilated during feeding without accidents and death. Life window and filter membrane can be disassembled and cleaned at any time.
Outer dimensions of the cage: 38cm×20cm×16cm(L* W *H)，which can accommodate 6-8 mice.
3.Type 3：Comfortable rat cage
