PCRBIO HS Taq (500u/µl) uses the latest developments in polymerase technology to enhance PCR speed, yield and specificity. The enzyme is presented in a highly concentrated form ideal for lyophilisation. PCRBIO HS Taq (500u/µl) is a robust enzyme for all your everyday PCR applications including genotyping, screening and diagnostics. Glycerol, detergents and many PCR enhancers are often prohibitive for successful lyophilisation. The use of a highly concentrated enzyme preparation ensures that such lyophilisation-prohibiting components are diluted out before lyophilisation.
“Hot-start” is a term used to describe the inactivation of a DNA polymerase until the initial activation step at 95°C. Inactivation below 65°C prevents primer-dimer formation and non-specific amplification allowing for specific amplification from low copy number target sequences. Our proprietary small-molecule hot-start technology offers improved specificity and sensitivity compared to other methods.
PCRBIO HS DNA Polymerase uses the latest developments in polymerase technology and buffer chemistry to enhance PCR speed, yield and specificity. The enzyme and buffer system allow for superior PCR performance on complex templates such has mammalian genomic DNA. PCRBIO HS Taq DNA Polymerase can perform consistently well on a broad range of templates (including both GC and AT rich).
The philosophy of PCRBIO HS Taq (500u/µl) is to provide the research community with a lyophilisation ready polymerase for incorporation into diagnostic kits and point of care diagnostic devices.
