MCAO Monofilament
MCAO Monofilament is a key experimental material for the establishment of MCAO in rats / mice (or other experimental animals). The Monofilament is made of flexible monofilament nylon thread and fired under a microscope. Its head end is smooth and uniform in size, so it’s easy to enter the skull without puncturing blood vessels. Using the MCAO Monofilament can greatly improve the success rate of model preparation and the stability of the range of cerebral ischemia.
MCAO Monofilament can reduce the standard deviation of cerebral infarction volume to very small, and the cerebral blood flow of animals will drop off the cliff when the Monofilament is inserted.
