New Members in Eppendorf's epMotion® Family – 4-Channel Dispensing Tools
Hits:22 Date: 4/29/2025
(Hamburg, April 2025)Eppendorf is expanding its product range in the field of automated liquid handling with the introduction of three new epMotion® 4-channel dispensing tools, which have been specially developed for the automation of liquid handling processes in tubes. These three tools cover a volume range of 1-1000 μL.
The automated transfer of liquids between different tubes or between tubes and 96/384-well plates, as is often required in (q)PCR and nucleic acid purification (NAP) applications, can lead to lengthy process cycles. Especially when using a 1-channel dispensing tool, the efficiency and productivity of laboratories is severely impaired.
With the new 4-channel tools, Eppendorf offers a solution that makes it possible to greatly shorten these throughput times and increase productivity by a factor of up to 4 compared to a 1-channel dispensing tool.
No compromises were made in the quality of the pipetting performance, so that in addition to increasing efficiency, the accuracy and reproducibility of the results in the known Eppendorf quality is guaranteed.
The tools are available for pipetting volumes from 1-50 μL, 20-300 μL and 40-1000 μL and are complemented by a wide range of compatible accessories.
The tools are autoclavable and can be integrated into existing epMotion® 5073 and 5075 systems with a serial number of 10,000 or higher.
Interested customers can now purchase the new epMotion 4-channel tools via the Eppendorf website, Eppendorf sales or authorized dealers. Further information on the products and their application is available on the Eppendorf website.
