  • Company Profile

MTMR7 encodes a member of the myotubularin family of tyrosine/dual-specificity phosphatases. Myotubularin-related protein 7 is characterized by four distinct domains that are conserved among all members of the myotubularin family: the glucosyltransferase, Rab-like GTPase activator and myotubularins domain, the Rac-induced recruitment domain, the protein tyrosine phosphatases and dual-specificity phosphatases domain and the suppressor of variegation 3-9, enhancer-of-zeste, and trithorax interaction domain. Myotubularin-related protein 7 dephosphorylates the target substrates phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate and inositol 1,3-bisphosphate. A pseudogene of MTMR7 is found on chromosome 5.

Human Myotubularin-related protein 7 (MTMR7) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MTMR7 in samples. An antibody specific for MTMR7 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyMTMR7 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for MTMR7 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MTMR7 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Human Myotubularin-related protein 7 (MTMR7) ELISA Kit listed herein is for research use only and is not intended for use in human or clinical diagnosis. Suggested applications of our products are not recommendations to use our products in violation of any patent or as a license.
