  • Company Profile

The DrySyn Snowstorm offers an attractive solution to low temperature reaction chemistry. Purging the dome with nitrogen / argon prevents the formation of ice, around the reactors, at sub-ambient temperatures. Active temperature control from +150oC to -60oC permits unattended operation of up to 12 vials at any one time.
With a small bench top footprint, the DrySyn Snowstorm allows increased throughput and screening without taking up valuable fume hood space.

Our gallery images show the SnowStorm reactor with both Grant and Julabo chillers.

    Max. solution temperature* -30oC

Asynt was formed in July 2003 with the aim to develop, supply and support new and novel products and services central to the laboratory.

Since inception, we have developed the DrySyn range (clean, safe synthesis without the need for oil baths and heating mantles) and now offer a broad range of scientific tools and consumables spanning from synthesis into biology.

Our current team has over 70 years of experience in the scientific sector and work hard to help our customers find the best possible solutions for their requirements. Key product lines available include Asynt ReactoMate Controlled Lab Reactors, the DrySyn heating and cooling blocks, Grant, IKA, Julabo, Porvair, Telstar and Vacuubrand amongst others.

Asynt’s Managing Director, Martyn Fordham, spent almost twenty years dealing with the requirements of research chemists (at the outset just custom glassblowing) before forming Asynt. For Martyn, having the right staff who are both knowledgeable and dedicated to customer support has been the key to Asynt’s successful growth.
