Creative Biogene Rickettsia Real Time PCR Kitis used for the detection of Rickettsia in whole blood (non-anticoagulant) , ticks (fleas,or lice), or tissue samples by using real time PCR systems. Rickettsia is a genus of nonmotile, Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, highly pleomorphic bacteria that may occur in the forms of cocci 0.1 μm in diameter, rods 1–4 μm long, or threads of up to about 10 μm long. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the Rickettsia. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
