    DESCRIPTION
Raise your expectations—the new Agilent 7900 ICP-MS opens up a new dimension in ICP-MS. With 10x higher matrix tolerance, 10x wider dynamic range and 10x better signal to noise than the world’s bestselling 7700 ICP-MS Series, plus software so powerful that it can write your methods for you, the Agilent 7900 ICP-MS redefines ICP-MS. Again. The world’s most powerful and automated ICP-MS includes the industry’s most effective helium collision mode for unsurpassed interference removal, ensuring superior data quality whatever your application. With every component engineered for performance and reliability, Agilent’s 7900 ICP-MS will put you on the path to success.

    Features
Unprecedented matrix tolerance—Agilent’s 7900 ICP-MS has a robust plasma and optional Ultra High Matrix Introduction (UHMI) technology that enable you to routinely measure samples containing up to 25% total dissolved solids (TDS)—100 times higher than the traditional matrix limit for ICP-MS, and far beyond the capability of any other current system.

Widest dynamic range—the new orthogonal detector system (ODS) delivers up to 11 orders of magnitude dynamic range from sub-ppt to percent-level concentrations, enabling you to measure trace elements and majors in the same run.

Better trace level detection—novel interface design and optimized expansion-stage vacuum system increase ion transmission, providing >109cps/ppm sensitivity at <2% CeO, while the ODS provides increased gain and reduced background for improved signal to noise.

Faster analysis of transient signals—with 10,000 separate measurements per second, the 7900 ICP-MS provides short integration times for accurate analysis of transient signals

Unmatched ease-of-use— the latest generation of ICP-MS MassHunter software features an intuitive dashboard layout with gadgets that guide you through every step of the analysis. The innovative Method Setup Wizard automatically builds your methods based on a few simple questions about your application, or from the analysis of a typical sample. For added flexibility, you can also use the remote monitor app to check and control your ICP-MS wherever and whenever you want.

Improved productivity—Ultra-high matrix introduction (UHMI) technology combined with optional Integrated Sample Introduction System (ISIS 3) and ODS ensures almost any sample can be run and quantified across the widest dynamic range, eliminating the extra time and cost associated with reruns due to over range results.

    ICP-MS MassHunter Software

    7900 ICP-MS Accessories

The 7900 ICP-MS is built to handle challenging applications and provide unrivalled performance. It comes with a variety of optional automated sampling systems to optimize your laboratory's workflow.

ICP-MS Integrated Sample Introduction System (ISIS 3)

    For high sample throughput applications

The ISIS 3 dramatically increases the productivity of the Agilent 7900 ICP-MS while also allowing high matrix samples to be run for extended periods of time. With its fast uptake piston pump and close-coupled 7-port valve located close to the nebulizer, the ISIS 3 enables reduced sample uptake and rinse times with discrete sampling (DS). The ISIS 3 delivers unmatched productivity for high sample matrix analysis in high-throughput laboratories.

ICP-MS Ultra High Matrix Introduction (UHMI) Accessory

For direct analysis of samples containing up to 25% TDS

The UHMI accessory uses an innovative computer-controlled and reproducible "aerosol dilution" approach that reduces the aerosol loading on the plasma, allowing the plasma to tolerate samples containing up to 25% total dissolved solids. UHMI "dilutes" the sample aerosol using clean, dry argon gas eliminating liquid dilution of high matrix samples prior to analysis and reducing oxide intereferences to extremeley low levels (0.5% CeO/Ce).

Agilent I-AS Autosampler with pumped rinse station

For ultra-trace analysis and small volumes

Agilent's I-AS Autosampler with pumped rinse station is ideal for ultra-trace analysis and small volumes (0.5mL). This fast, flexible and high-precision integrated autosampler supports flexible rack configurations and offers a maximum capacity of 89 vials, plus 3 rinse vials.

    Agilent ASX-500

    For random access intelligent autosampling

Suitable for most common ICP-MS applications, especially medium or high-throughpput labs, the Agilent ASX-500 autosampler supports rack configurations providing up to 360 vial positions. Constructed to minimize the possibility of sample contamination, the ASX-500's corrosion resistant components and enclosed drive arm maintain a high level of accuracy in even the harshest chemical environments.

    LC-ICP-MS and GC-ICP-MS Interface Kits

    For industry-leading speciation measurement

The Agilent 7900 ICP-MS links seamlessly with the Agilent HPLC and GC systems through field-proven interfaces, integrated software control, documentation, and fully developed application kits. Other hypehnated techniques including CE, IC, and FFF are also easily configured.
