Working Principle of Rotovap R1005:

The equipment for purification distillation test rotates and shapes a thin film in negative pressure condition by heating, evaporates efficiently, and then condenses and recollects solvent to purify and separate.

Use of Rotovap R1005;

Components of Rotovap R1005 : 

Evaporation Flask

A motor unit that rotates the evaporation flask or vial containing the user's sample.

Condensate-collecting Flask

A condensate-collecting flask at the bottom of the condenser, to catch the distilling solvent after it re-condenses.

 Condenser

A condenser with a coil passing coolant into which coolant mixtures such as dry ice and acetone are placed.

Heating Fluid Bath

A heated fluid bath (generally water) to heat the sample.
