Description:
Reversible proteins staining is a sensitive way to detect the transfer proteins on nitrocellulose membrane or PVDF membrane, it could effectively detect the result of transfer proteins.
The traditional way is to stain proteins with Ponceau S, which not only has the low sensitivity, but also fast discoloration and the red color can hardly photo preservation.
The staining solution of BioTeke has a high compatibility to protein, shows clearly blue when combined with protein on membrane, it’s 10 times more sensitive than traditional Ponceau S (<25ng). In addition, the special compounds and protein binding force is reversible binding of ionic bond in staining solution, it will not affect the next western blot.
This kit is usually applied to check if protein transfer to membrane before western blot, and can estimate the consistency of protein sample volume in different lane.
