UltraPower™ Visible Light Transilluminator

Description
UltraPower™ Visible Light Transilluminator is one of new generation of transmission device developed by BioTeke Corporation for nucleic acid and protein gel electrophoresis sample observation, processing, analysis and photographed. The instrument uses visible light as the light source and is equipped with special optical filters, to achieve gel analysis. 

The instrument does not use ultraviolet light source, but also no need to use harmful dyes (eg: EtBr), so the use of the instrument can effectively protect the operator and the experimental samples, to avoid UV damage and EB poisoned. As the visible light through glass and plexiglass, hence do not have to pour gel tray in observation. Samples can also be observed in vivo. 

UltraPower™ visible light transilluminator with a new generation of nucleic acid dyes UltraPower™ nucleic acid stains or other fluorescent dyes, can detect tens of pg of dsDNA. Sensitivity obtained using this instrument is around 8-20 times than that obtained with EtBr and UV transilluminator. Maximum excitation spectrum of many fluorescent dyes are not UV light, but mostly in the 400-500nm, so visible light is the best light source. 

UltraPower™ visible light transilluminator can be used for viewing the majority of fluorescent dyes, such as UltraPower™nucleic acid stains, SYBR Green I, GelStar, Genefinder, green fluorescent protein (EGPF) and so on.

3. UltraPower™ visible light transilluminator can be used for viewing a wide range of fluorescent samples including SYBR Green, GelStar, GelGreen, SYPRO Ruby, flurescein and various GFPs.
4. UltraPower™ visible light transilluminator is also provided with a free pair of viewing glasses with exactly the same optical properties as the screen. The glasses are a key accessory for cutting bands out of gels.
5. UltaPowerTM visible light transilluminator allows taking color pictures using digital camera.
