Canine Parvovirus Antigen Rapid Test Kit
(Whole Blood / Serum / Plasma / Milk)
●INTENDED USE
Canine Parvovirus Antigen Rapid Test Kit (whole blood/serum/plasma/milk) is a solid phase immunochromatographic assay for the rapid, qualitative and dfferentia ldetection of antibody to animal whole blood/serum/plasma/milk. This test provide only a preliminary analytical result. A secondary analytical method must be used to obtain a confirmed result. Gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS) are the preferred confirmatory methods.
●PRINCIPLE
Canine Parvovirus Antigen Rapid Test Kit is based on the technology of colloidal gold immunochromatography assay. After the sample is added to the sample well, the liquid sample and colloidal gold marker are moving together along with chromatographic membrane. If Canine Parvovirus exists in the sample, the antibody is combined with it and the test line appears red. There is no color reaction when the testing sample has no Canine Parvovirus Virus.

2. Unscrew the cap of bottle, insert the cotton swab into the bottle containing the buffer .
3. Apply the cotton swab against the tube wall and circle along the it at least 10 times to make buffer and sample fully mixed.
4. Squeeze the cotton swab against the tube wall to push the liquid out.
5. Discard the swab, cap and keep the tube still.
6. Suck 100ul (3 drops) of liquid supernatant to test.
●TEST PROCEDURE
Allow test cassete, specimen, and/ or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30℃) prior to testing.
1. Remove the test cassette from the sealed foil pouch and use it as soon as possible.Best results will be obtained if the assay is performed within one hour.
2. Place the test device on a clean and level surface.
3. Add 100ul (3 drops) sample into the sample well.
4. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. The result should be read at between 10-15 mintues. It is invalid after 15 minutes.

●READ RESULTS WITH NAKED EYES

NEGATIVE: If only the C band is present, it is negetive.
POSITIVE: In addition to the presence of C band, T band is developed, it is positive.
INVALID: Reference Line Fails to appear
Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for an invalid result. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test kit. Stop using the test kit immediately if the problem is not solved and contact your local distributor.
