Feature
• Non-toxicity: ExRed is an oily macromolecule that cannot penetrate the cell membrane and enter cells. The result of the Ames test of the product components is Non-mutagenic.
• High sensitivity: The sensitivity is higher than that of conventional stains such as Gold View, EB, etc. The effect on the migration of nucleic acids is far less than that of SYBR. Green I. The product is suitable for electrophoresis staining of various size fragments, and excellent in orderliness.
• High signal-to-noise ratio: The sample fluorescence signal is strong and the background signal is low.
• Simple operation: Same as EB, the stain do not degrade during pre-gel and electrophoresis. After the electrophoresis, the dyeing process can also be observed directly with the UV gel transilluminator with only 30 minutes without decolorization or washing.
• Wide range of applications: Stain before electrophoresis (Precast Gels method) or after electrophoresis (Immersion Gels method). This product is suitable for agarose gel or polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and can be used for dsDNA, ssDNA, or RNA staining.
• Spectra same as EB: No need to change the filter and observation device, can observe with the standard EB system UV gel transmission instrument.
Note
ExRed can be optimally excitated near 300nm UV light. However, it cannot be completelyexcitated by the visible light of 488nm wavelength, so it is not recommended to use such an imaging system.
