Introduction
The viral DNA/RNA extraction kit is suitable for the determination of acellular body fluids, including plasma, serum, ascites, cultured cell supernatants, cerebrospinal fluid and urine, that can quickly extract high-purity viral DNA/RNA from those cells. This kit uses a centrifugal adsorption column and a unique buffer system that specifically bind to viral DNA/RNA.
The product can meet most simultaneous requirements for viral RNA/DNA extraction, such as viral RNA: HCV (hepatitis C virus), HIV (HIV) and HTLV (human T-lymphotropic virus); viral DNA: HBV (hepatitis B virus) and CMV (cytomegalovirus) and so on. After the virus is lysed, the DNA/RNA is selectively adsorbed on the silica matrix membrane in the spin column in the state of high-isolation salt, and then through a series of rapid rinsing-centrifugation steps, impurities such as salts, cell metabolites, and proteins are removed. The low salt elution buffer elutes the pure viral DNA/RNA from the silicon matrix membrane. The purified viral nucleic acid has no impurities and PCR inhibitors and can be directly applied to PCR/RT-PCR analysis.
