AZGP1 (Alpha-2-Glycoprotein 1, Zinc-Binding) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with AZGP1 include Hidrocystoma and Clear Cell Hidradenoma. Among its related pathways are Miscellaneous transport and binding events and Transport of glucose and other sugars, bile salts and organic acids, metal ions and amine compounds. GO annotations related to this gene include antigen binding and peptide antigen binding. An important paralog of this gene is HLA-B.
Mouse Alpha-2-glycoprotein 1 antibody IgA/G/M (B2-GP1-IgA/G/M) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate B2-GP1-IgA/G/M in samples. An antibody specific for B2-GP1-IgA/G/M has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyB2-GP1-IgA/G/M present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for B2-GP1-IgA/G/M is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of B2-GP1-IgA/G/M bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
