Diana Wiedmann brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial, electrical and pharmaceutical industry. Previously, she served as Head of Human Resources, overseeing a global team and developing HR management strategies for international companies, including Siemens and the US-based biotech company, Vertex Pharmaceuticals.

“We are very pleased to have gained an experienced leader like Diana to complete our highly qualified HR team, “stated Dr. Frank Mathias, CEO of Rentschler Biopharma. “Our team is the key to our continued success. We, therefore, attach great importance to the long-term development of our teams and our attractiveness as an employer to enable efficient and motivated work. Bringing a wealth of experience, Diana will strategically develop the Human Relations department and strengthen our employer branding. Diana Wiedmann said: “It is an excellent opportunity for me to take over responsibility for the global management of the Human Relations department in a future-oriented, family-owned company. These turbulent times are particularly suitable for making a difference, as they are driven by digitalization and cultural change, in which growing trust and increasing responsibility spur employees. We will use the innovative and pioneering spirit in the company, both to strengthen this important industry and to contribute to shaping the medicines of tomorrow. Rentschler Biopharma is the perfect fit to implement such visions on a long-term and sustainable basis and to accompany people in times of increasing complexity and demands."

During the course of the year, the HR team was further strengthened by Sabine Lotz, Vice President Human Relations, and Silke Stang, Head of Academy. Sabine Lotz has been with Rentschler Biopharma since April 2019 and, in March 2020, took on responsibility for the entire spectrum of operational HR work for the Laupheim location as Vice President HR.
