OptiMair™ clean benches showcase Esco's renowned expertise in ergonomic designs. The angled front improves visibility, improves reach, and reduces operator strain by improving work posture. The sliding sash is convenient and closes fully to enable decontamination of the work zone with the optional UV lamp. Glass sides create a bright, airy work space and eliminate the feeling of being "boxed-in". The powder coated work zone rear wall eliminates harsh reflections which may be associated with conventional stainless steel interiors. The vertical air flow design minimizes direct airflow which may lead to dry eyes and fatigue on horizontal flow models.

These clean benches are equipped with the Sentinel™ Delta Microprocessor Control System, which monitors and controls all clean bench functions. Soft touch controls for blower, light, outlet and UV are easy to clean. A temperature-compensated air velocity sensor and real-time display allows airflow to be monitored more accurately compared with conventional pressure gauges.

OptiMair™ clean benches provide ISO Class 4 air cleanliness within the work zone as per ISO 14644.1, significantly cleaner than the usual Class 5 classification on clean benches offered by the competition.

The energy-efficient external rotor fan system reduces power consumption to unparalleled levels. The 1.2m/4' model consumes only 123 watts during normal operation. A programmable UV timer reduces power consumption required for decontamination. Esco is committed to sustainable, environmentally friendly practices and is an ISO 14001 certified firm.

External surfaces are powder coated with Esco Isocide® to eliminate 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours of exposure.
