A new RT-PCR kit of Wuhan Ecalbio​ Co., Ltd for detecting 2019-nCoV

 
Wuhan Ecalbio Co., Ltd has produced a new RT-PCR kit for detecting 2019-nCoV. This kit is based on fluorescent probe, and it can effectively avoid the contamination. It can rapidly detect the content of 2019-nCoV with high specificity, sensitivity and easy operation.
 
The main components of the kit are NC (orf1ab or N) PCR solution, NC (orf1ab or N) negative control and NC (orf1ab or N) positive control. Scope of application / intended use is "qualitatively detect the orf1ab or N genes of new coronavirus (2019 nCov) in throat swab and sputum samples of suspected pneumonia cases, patients with suspected clustering cases and other patients who need to carry out diagnosis or differential diagnosis of new coronavirus infection in vitro."
 
In this kit, the conserved region-specific primers of 2019 nCov, fluorescent probe, FQ buffer, thermostable DNA polymerase (Taq enzyme), four nucleotide monomers (dNTPs) and other components were used to amplify in vitro by PCR fluorescence method, so as to achieve the purpose of rapid and accurate detection.
