 Esco biological safety cabinets have passed more tests, in more languages, in more countries, than any other manufacturer in the world. Being a major player in the European market, to date 15 current Esco models have been tested to the European Standard EN 12469 at the Health Protection Agency, Porton Down, UK.

The Health Protection Agency is a UK national organisation which is dedicated to protecting people's health and reducing the impact of infectious diseases. The Agency has been at the forefront of containment technology for over 50 years, and has been independently testing safety cabinets to the British Standard since 1979 and to the European Standard EN 12469 since it was adopted in 2000.
