Shanghai, November 28, 2017 –
Veolia Water Technologies exhibits today at the 2017 China (Shanghai) International Evaporation and Crystallization Technology and Equipment Exhibition (SHEC 2017). As a leading water and wastewater solutions provider with a wide array of contemporary water treatment solutions, Veolia will showcase its star
EVALED® evaporation technology for wastewater treatment from November 28-30 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, to meet the needs of manufacturers in the region.

Evaporation is a natural phenomenon and a clear separation technology. It is recognized as one of the best available techniques in industrial wastewater treatment processes.
Veolia’s EVALED® evaporatorsprovide manufacturers that face rising operation costs — such as the cost of industrial wastewater disposal — an effective and cost-efficient system to accelerate the natural evaporation process and reduce industrial wastewater volume and disposal costs.
Veolia will use SHEC 2017 as a platform to share the success story of one of its clients, a China-based manufacturer in the mechanical industry, who was able to reduce the high costs for disposal of highly polluted and corrosive wastewater from the production line by more than 20 times, and recycle more than 95% of the treated water. These great results were achieved thanks to Veolia’s technical expertise and strong understanding of its client’s needs, using the EVALED® technology.
A demo unit of the
EVALED® PC R system will be on display at the Veolia booth.

“Today’s manufacturers are encountering more stringent environmental regulations,” shared James PENG, Solutions Director, Veolia Water Technologies China. “With Veolia, however, our partners can be assured of keeping up with industry standards, as our solutions exceed even the most rigorous quality and environmental standards required by the region. We continuously push technological boundaries to create greater winning opportunities for our partners.”
Trusted Technology
Industrial wastewater treatment has provided manufacturers with an opportunity for water recycling and valuable matter recovery. Veolia’s EVALED® stands out as the extensive range of EVALED® models and capacities provides quality, reliable and adaptable solutions for a wide variety of waste streams, and is suitable even for heavily polluted water. EVALED® also offers high automation, low energy consumption and low carbon footprint.
In addition, Veolia provides the knowledge of how to combine its proprietary water technologies, such as the Hydrex™ coagulation and flocculation chemicals, to create custom-made total solutions for water and wastewater management and optimization. This is further supported by Veolia’s robust understanding of the market and its client’s needs, which differs across different geographical locations, and its ability to create more value for businesses, while reducing the impact of industrial activities on the environment.
SHEC 2017 Conference
Aside from exhibiting at SHEC 2017, Veolia will also be participating in the 2017 High Concentration Organic Industrial Wastewater Treatment Technical Forum at the same venue. The technical forum will see Veolia expert, Giovanni SILVESTRI, Sales Manager, Veolia Water Technologies Italy, share his expertise on the topic of ‘Industrial Wastewater ZLD Solutions’ at 10.30 a.m. on November 28.
