Esco Participated in Pittcon 2008 in New Orleans from 3-6 March 2008

Esco has completed Pittcon 2008 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Centre from 3-6 March 2008. It is the first time Pittcon is conducted in New Orleans after the unfortunate Hurricane Katrina disaster, but a successful turnout for the show indicates that the city is taking big strides towards returning to its past glory.

This year, we adopted a much more open concept to our booth design and this indeed attracted many more attendees to our stand, which displayed many current and new products, like the Hospital Pharmacy Isolator, Labculture Reliant Class 2 Biological Safety Cabinet, Frontier Acela Fume Hood, Swift Maxi and Mini Thermal Cyclers, and of course our flagship model, the Labculture Class 2 Biological Safety Cabinet.
On Tuesday, 4 March, we held our annual distributor dinner at Jean Lafitte Bistro, and it was a great event where our distributors from around the world enjoyed themselves in the classy setting located at the heart of probably the rowdiest areas of the Big Easy- Bourbon Street. Special mention has to go to PT Elo Karsa from Indonesia and Arquimed from Chile, whose companies were presented with tokens of appreciation for their effort and good work for Esco in Southeast Asia and South America respectively.

It is the first time our US office Esco Technologies, Inc. took full charge of the show. We would like to specially thank our General Manager Mike Martin and his team for making this event possible. It is Esco’s 30th anniversary this year. We aim to go from strength to strength and celebrate many more decades of success. Esco. World Class. Worldwide.
