Ecalbio Launches Capripox Ab ELISA Kit and Brucella Ab Rapid Test

Ecalbio Team and Agricultural University of Huazhong develop new diagnostic products: Capripox Ab ELISA Kit and Brucella Ab Rapid Test.

 

Sheep pox virus (SPPV), goatpox virus (GTPV) and lumpy skin disease virus (LSDV) of the genus Capripoxvirus (CaPV) cause capripox disease in sheep, goats and cattle, respectively. These viruses are not strictly host-specific and their geographical distribution is complex.

 

Capripox Ab ELISA Kit has been developed for the detection of serum antibody to Capripox virus and applicable to the Capripox immune antibody detection, diagnosis and epidemiological investigation.

 

 

Bovine Brucella Ab Rapid Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow on the surface of the test strip. If there is enough B. Brucella antibodies in the sample, a visible T band will appear. The C band should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of Bovine Brucella antibodies in the sample.
