Expanded Beckman Coulter eStore Streamlines Instruments, Reagents and Consumables Purchasing

Beckman Coulter, Inc. announced its expanded and redesigned eStore web service. The site incorporates updated product catalogs for Beckman Coulter's research automation, centrifugation, flow cytometry, capillary electrophoresis, HPLC (high-pressure liquid chromatography) and proteomics offerings. New, advanced functionality, with individual search capability for each product, enables fast item location. Frequently ordered consumable items are easy to find and accurate, account-specific pricing is automatically provided.

Online purchasing through eStore has also been expanded and now covers approximately 6,000 products. Automation of the order-to-ship process further streamlines purchasing while reducing data entry steps and opportunities for errors. The new eStore can be accessed through Beckman Coulter's home page or directly at www.beckmancoulter.com/estore.

"Online ordering is on the rise worldwide, and more customers are linking to preferred vendor sites to simplify procurement," commented Amy Bratcher, eCommerce business manager for Beckman Coulter. "Our new site was designed using customer procurement processes as models."

The new eStore is currently available for customers in the U.S., Germany, France and the UK. "We've focused on product lines serving the flow cytometry and life science markets for this first phase," continued Bratcher. "The longer-term plan is to offer eCommerce for all products worldwide."
