Esco will be sponsoring the 21st Singapore Pharmacy Congress

Singapore June 28, 2011 – Esco is one with the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS) in partnering with the community and optimizing care to all Singaporeans.

The 21st Singapore Pharmacy Congress is scheduled to be held on 16-17 July 2011 at Sheraton Towers. The event will cover the latest developments in pharmaceutical practice and there will be some relevant presentations to be featured by some of the prominent national and international experts and speakers.

PSS’s mission is to maximize the contribution of pharmacists to the healthcare of Singaporeans, as well as, to provide high quality pharmaceutical services that will support the efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness of drug treatments.

Furthermore, the objectives are to provide leadership that will enable pharmacists:

 •   To provide high quality pharmaceutical services that foster the efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness of drug manufacturing, distribution and use. 
 •   To contribute to programmes and services that emphasize the health needs of Singaporeans and the prevention of disease. 
 •   To promote pharmacy as an essential component of the heathcare team.
