Exclusive LogR Technology Offers the Most Advanced Electrode Diagnostic Capabilities
BEVERLY, Mass., (April 2010) – Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today unveiled the new Thermo Scientific Orion Star LogR Meters. The exclusive LogR technology uses the resistance across the bulb to provide a new method for electrode analysis and determine sample temperature. The resistance information can be used to detect errors in the electrode, saving analysis time and offering quick troubleshooting of electrode issues. Additionally, these meters allow for temperature-compensated pH readings without the use of a separate temperature input.
Benefits of the Thermo Scientific Orion Star LogR meters include:
This meter will replace the current Thermo Scientific Orion PerpHecT® LogR™ meters – the 320, 350 and 370 series. A listing of discontinued part numbers along with a cross-reference to the new Orion Star LogR part numbers is available. Some key highlights to upgrading to the Star LogR meter are an improved LogR calibration procedure; the Orion Star meter interface with more features and pH calibration points; the resistance display; and the 3-year replacement warranty.
