The Indian healthcare sector is booming and has emerged as one of the largest service sectors in India. It is growing further with a fast pace. The new generation is looking forward to get the best of medical and emergency services. In a country like India, where life quotient is very low and the probabilities of accidents and emergencies are high, complete new and rapid medical emergency services are highly demanded. In western countries, the era of air ambulances and highly equipped emergency medical transport has come long ago. In our country as well these services are not very far away. Having all these developments in our country, a focused exhibition is the need of the hour.
Infinity Expositions Inc is organizing Medical Technology India 2009 along with the first ever EMS India 2009 and Blood Bank India 2009. These are the first ever exhibitions in India focusing on Medical Technology, Emergency Medical Services and Blood Banks. The exhibitions are slated to be held from th to 11 January 2009 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.
“The potential of Emergency Medical Services and modernisation of medical services in India has provoked us to organise an international exhibition on these subjects. We are sure that this initiative of ours would work as the catalyst for these not-so-talked-about segments of medical industry”, said Anuj Mathur, CEO of Infinity Expositions Inc. The exhibition area would be over 6000 sqm. and expected number of exhibitors to be 150 both Indian and international. The profile of exhibitors includes manufacturers and importers of medical electro-medical equipment, surgical equipment, ambulance manufacturers, emergency medical products, blood bank equipment manufacturers and allied consumables.
“The world market is looking at India for investments and business. Medical industry is also on the same track with several international hospital chains investing in India by the means of mergers and take over. Increasing medical tourism has also pushed the need for modernisation of technology and infrastructure in a big way. We welcome the companies from the world over to come and use this exhibition as a platform to launch their products and find suitable representatives for them”, added Mathur.
An extensive promotional plan has been chalked out to market the shows. Promotional plan includes a dedicated web site, advertisements in trade media, editorials in media, personal invitations, launching shows in several cities and a dedicated call center. The show will be promoted in other countries by visiting and participating in several trade shows. The company plans to promote the exhibitions in other developing countries including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Africa and Arab as well.
Visitors will be from all different arrays of the medical industry and include-Medical Professionals & Doctors, Hospitals & Nursing Homes, Hospital Administrators, Medical Research Institutions, Health Department of Central and State Govt, Distributors & Importers of Medical & Surgical Equipment, EMS Service Providers, Ambulance Associations & Societies, Blood Banks, Pathology Laboratories, Medical Department of Defense & Railway Ministry, Fire Department, NGO and Associations, Faculty & Students of Medical Colleges, Industry Media and Publications. “We are expecting visitors from all these areas of the industry and the number of visitors will be over 20000”, concluded Mathur.
