Introduction
The kit uses a special centrifugal adsorption column and a unique buffer system that is particularly suitable for the separation and purification of genomic DNA from oral/pharyngeal swabs. Samples from various sources is digested first, then DNA is selectively adsorbed on a silicon matrix membrane in a spin column in a highly-salted salt state(specially equipped with an Acryl Carrier to easily capture trace nucleic acids from the system). Followed by a series of rapid rinsing – centrifugation step removes impurities such as salts, cell metabolites, and proteins. Finally, the low-salt elution buffer elutes the purified genomic DNA from the silicon substrate membrane.
The purified DNA is free of impurities and PCR inhibitors and can be directly applied to PCR analysis.
