Pribolab® KRC is a photochemical post-column derivative device for the testing of aflatoxins inHPLC*-FLD*. Aflatoxins B1 and G1 must be derivatized to enhance the fluorescence for high-precision detection, this can be easily realized with Pribolab® KRC by UV irradiation at 254 nm.
The effect of this method is comparable to the electrochemical derivatization method refer to related literature. In addition, Pribolab® KRC does not need to be washed and because it does not require any corrosive reagents to the mobile phase when using Pribolab® KRC, which is required in electrochemical methods, thus the lifetime of the HPLC system will be increased .
