Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) is a group of clinically similar illnesses caused by species of hantaviruses from the family Hantaviridae, in the order Bunyavirales. It is also known as Korean hemorrhagic fever, epidemic hemorrhagic fever, and nephropathia epidemica. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the HantaVirus Renal Syndrome Type II. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
