Respiratory syncytial virus (HRSV) is a syncytial virus that causes respiratory tract infections. It is a major cause of lower respiratory tract infections and hospital visits during infancy and childhood. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the respiratory syncytial virus. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
