Pasteurella multocida is a Gram-negative, nonmotile, penicillin-sensitive coccobacillus belonging to the Pasteurellaceae family. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the Pasteurella multocida. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
