Τrypanosoma equiperdum is a species of kinetoplastid parasites that causes Dourine or covering sickness in horses and other animals in the family equidae. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the Trypanosoma equiperdum. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
