This product is a rapid direct binding test kit for D-Dimer. Results are available in less than 10 minutes. It is very sensitive and easy for storage.
Intended Use
The One Step Test for D-Dimer (colloidal gold) is intended for use together with the FIA8000 Quantitative Immunoassay Analyzer. It can be used to detect D-Dimer in human plasma or whole blood specimens in vitro quantitatively.
This test is used as an aid in the assessment and exclusion of suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE) in the Physical Department or emergency room (ER).
Principle
This product is based on the principle of sandwich immunoassay for determination of D-Dimer in human blood specimens. Two monoclonal antibodies are employed to identify D-Dimer specifically, resulting in one or two purplish red streaks appear on the test line. The color intensity of the test lines increase in proportion to the D-Dimer concentration.
Then insert test card into the FIA8000 Quantitative Immunoassay Analyzer, the concentration of D-Dimer is measured quantitatively and displayed on the screen. The result can be transmitted to the lab or hospital information system.
