Description:
The Stripping Buffer is used to reprobe Western blot membrane. When complete the binding of antibodies and detection in Western blot membrane, detect some proteins expressed steadily for control, such as Actin, Tubulin, or some other proteins that are constitutive expression in the same membrane. By unbinding the combination of antigen and antibody using the Stripping Buffer, it’s convenient for detecting other proteins in the same membrane. It is not only save time and trouble but also eliminate the error from the loading samples.

Features:

The ideal stripping buffer is to elute the antibodies, while preserve antigens on the membranes and no change about combination property; but from now on, there is no one can only elute the antibodies and no one can be fit for any one antigen-antibody complex. If the stripping buffer is too strong, elute antigen easily; too weak, cannot wash antigen-antibody complex. So the Kit contains two different buffers, Strong Buffer and Mild Buffer. How to chose these two buffers depends on combinational intensity.
The elution of the traditional methods on ‘Molecular Cloning’ is the too strong for antigens, which caused the weak signals of proteins. But the BioTeke Stripping Buffer conquers this problem, which is efficient elution for antibodies and gently action on antigens. Given multiple antibodies tests, it is 3 times using that is normal for membrane.
There is no beta- Mercaptoethanol, which is simple, no peculiar smell and complete in 15-20min under room temperature.
