Description	This kit provides a rapid, reliable and high-throughput method for the purification of high-quality genomic DNA from M13 Phage

  Primary principle
The infected bacterial culture firstly is centrifuged to pellet the bacterial cell, and then high-salt buffer is added to the supernatant and single-strand phage DNA is selectively absorbed to silica membrane. The sample is then applied to a spin column and centrifuged. DNA binds to the membrane while contaminants such as proteins and polysaccharides are efficiently removed by two wash steps. Pure single-strand phage DNA is eluted in a small volume of low-salt buffer or water.

High yield, generally purify up to 3μg of single-stranded DNA from 800mL of phage supernatant.

High purity, Purified DNA typically has an A260/A280 ratio between 1.7 and 1.9 which is suitable for sequencing and other biological applications.
