Plasmodium falciparum is a unicellular protozoan parasite of humans, and the deadliest species of Plasmodium that cause malaria in humans. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the Plasmodium falciparum. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
