CapitalBio OPPolymerSlide G is designed for the production of protein microarray chips. It provides an ideal substrate for the attachment of various types of proteins. In the process of production, the surface of the optical glass slides is coated with a thin layer of three-dimensional aldehyde-modified polymer. After printing, protein molecules diffuse into the polymer layer and become bound via covalent bonds. The polymer layer on the surface of the slides provide protein molecules with a hydrated environment and help to maintain protein activities. No modification or preprocessing is needed before printing. The surface of CapitalBio OPPolymerSlide G is divided into 12 areas to allow multiple assays to be conducted simultaneously on the same printed slide. This helps to reduce errors caused by variance in slide performance. CapitalBio OPPolymerSlide G helps to ensure regular morphology and uniform size of the spots and high sensitivity and low background fluorescence in the process of hybridization.
