EDI is one kind of new desalination technology integrates electrodialysis and ion exchange, its English name is ectrodeionization, and initials is EDI, the craft integrates the advantages of electrodialysis and ion exchange, and makes up for the disadvantages of them above, namely use ion exchange deep desalination to overcome the inexhaustive desalination of electrodialysis, and use electrodialysis polarization to produce H+ and OH-to achieve resin rebirth, thus overcoming the defects of rebirth via Chemical reagent. so EDI is one perfect treatment technology.
