AKT2 is a putative oncogene encoding a protein belonging to a subfamily of serine/threonine kinases containing SH2-like (Src homology 2-like) domains. AKT2 was shown to be amplified and overexpressed in 2 of 8 ovarian carcinoma cell lines and 2 of 15 primary ovarian tumors. Overexpression contributes to the malignant phenotype of a subset of human ductal pancreatic cancers. AKT serine/threonine kinase 2 is a general protein kinase capable of phophorylating several known proteins.
The Abbkine Akt2 (phospho Ser474) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and detects endogenous levels of Akt2 protein only when phosphorylated at S474. The antibody has been validaed in WB, IHC-P, ELISA and reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat samples.
Abbkine supplies below price/size: $100/30μl, $220/100μl, $360/200μl of Rabbit Anti-Akt2 (phospho Ser474) Polyclonal Antibody at https://www.abbkine.com/product/akt2-phospho-ser474-polyclonal-antibody-abp50259.
