Fractalkine is a transmembrane protein and chemokine involved in the adhesion and migration of leukocytes. CX3C chemokine receptor 1 encoded by CX3CR1 is a receptor for fractalkine. The encoded protein also is a coreceptor for HIV-1, and some variations in this gene lead to increased susceptibility to HIV-1 infection and rapid progression to AIDS. Four transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Fractalkine Receptor Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of Fractalkine Receptor protein.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB: 1:500-1:2000, IHC-p: 1:100-300 ELISA: 1:20000. Not yet tested in other applications.
