This probe set allows status assessment of the ATM gene region on chromosome 11q22.3. In a normal cell with two intact copies of the ATM gene region, a two orange signal pattern will be observed. In an abnormal cell with a deletion in the ATM gene region, fewer than two orange signals will be observed.
Empire Genomics has developed a custom ATM probe which can be used to detect/confirm a rearrangement of the ATM gene. The probe comes labeled in orange, and generally ships within 24 hours. You can choose to customize the probe to meet your needs, which will ship right after production of the probe is complete (approximately 1 week).
