The protein encoded by CD80 is a membrane receptor that is activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy. CD80 (CD80 Molecule) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CD80 include Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Among its related pathways are phosphorylation site mutants of CTNNB1 are not targeted to the proteasome by the destruction complex and Immune response NFAT in immune response.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC-p 1:50-200, ELISA 1:10000-20000.
